Suddenly I felt near me ………. all my memories unfolding one …………………………by one
I gently took them out
Those colourful memories of tales that told many stories
Those memories that sang ……….songs for all that I felt
Songs that I did not want others to hear
I feared that they will be lost forever………………………………
Vanish into oblivion

Never did I realise that time has passed and my memories have grown
They are brave enough to venture out
So I let them go…set them free
To soar high…into the clear blue sky

…Uda Diya Maine Unhein Udney Ke Liye

Achaanak dekha ek chaadar yaadon ki
failee hui thi saamne
her reshe pe ek khoobsoorat kissa

abhi kal hi kholna shuru kiya
ek-ek reshe ko
apni kaanptee hui ungliyon se maine

dhundhle thhe per bhoolen nahi thhe
sambhaal ke rakhe huye thhe man me kahin chhupaake
hari, sunehri, neeli, gulabi
har kissa rangeen har mod haseen
naazuk pankhuriyon si komal lamhein
darti thhi koi kuchal na de unhein
ho gaye hain jawaan ab
nikhar gaye hain sab
aazaad hone ka aayaa hai avsar
