The Aamir Khan and Kajol starrer ‘FANAA’ has always held my fantasy. Aamir Khan has never looked better as a romantic lead as in this movie. It has also been a comeback movie for Kajol. Background music in Fanaa by Salim-Sulaiman is exceptional. Thanks also to the sound designer Dilip Subramanium & music directors Jatin-Lalit.

Some shaayaris therein are too good too, like -

“tere dil mein meri saanson ko panaah mil jaaye” & “baahon me lele aur khud ko bheeg jaane de”.

And this dialogue from Aamir to Kajol -

“kuchh der ke liye apni palkon ko aaraam do”. Mashaaallah! Then Kajol’s heart out – “ye zindagi na sahi, agley 12 ghante to kam se kam hum saath beeta sakte hain,” followed by Aamir’s – “mere aur qareeb na aao, ye toofaan tumhein tabaah kar dega.” 

Oh I can watch the first part of the movie umpteen times.
