A league apart is what I would call it
Oh we were late and we ran.
I knew nothing about the movie I was going to see – the reviews were raving and it was a rage.
So we sat and ordered a large bucket of popcorn.
The 3D glasses on our eyes and goodness our eyes did pop out man.
‘Prometheus’ directed by Ridley Scott… starring — Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron. Set in the late 21st century, the story centers on the crew of the spaceship Prometheus as they follow a star map discovered among the remnants of several ancient Earth cultures. Led to a distant world and an advanced civilization, the crew seeks the origins of humanity, but instead discovers a threat that could cause the extinction of the human race.
The subject being a search … for ages… carried out by scientists and geologists… it surely is something which all of us think about some or the other time in our lives and we do read a lot to figure out the truth… as to where have we humans descended from. An old subject and very sought after reality of which very less is known.
The mystery follows us down centuries and captivates the human mind. Questions like – are we alone on this Earth… Are there others like us somewhere on some other planet… If yes, do they know about us… are they as human as us… Ohhh I have so many questions and there are no answers…
I wonder many a times as I lie down and see the Moon… are there people living on the moon? Is there someone lying down as I do now and also thinking on the same lines… Somewhere far away on a planet which may have life as normal as we have here. Maybe they also have a scientific team trying to locate us… Or they might be aliens and dangerously destructive.
As I saw the ‘PROMETHEUS’ … It sort of opened many a files in my mind and many an unanswered questions popped up again…
The movie had an amazing pace and the speed with which we attacked our bucket of popcorn was even faster. We sat at the edge of our seats all the time.
