Tata Starbucks in India is leveraging its coffee heritage and inspiration to celebrate International Coffee Week with special promotions across its 128 stores in 7 cities.
The food and beverage company will host a seven-day celebration titled ‘Starbucks Brewtober’, beginning October 1 which is the International Coffee Day.
During this period, Starbucks stores will feature seven international whole bean coffees handpicked from seven different parts of the coffee belt.
Starbucks feels this will allow customers to ‘Travel the World in Seven Sips’.
Tata Starbucks is a joint venture between the Tata Group and Seattle-based coffee store chain Starbucks which started operations in India in October 2012.
Starbucks opened its first store in India in 2012 in Mumbai’s Horniman Circle. India is the fastest growing market outside of the US for Starbucks.
Starbucks says it is committed to ethically sourced coffee and the 47-year-old Starbucks legacy of coffee processing and roasting.
“At Starbucks, we take great pride and joy in partnering with customers on their journey of coffee exploration and are committed to delivering an unparalleled coffee experience,” said Veetika Deoras, head, marketing, category, digital and loyalty at Tata Starbucks.
